ABOUT   US

Trade Show Consulting, LLC. has been producing and managing tradeshows in the U.S. and Mexico for over 35 years.

Formally Industrial Shows of America (ISOA), Trade Show Consulting (TSC) has been producing shows in the U.S. and Mexico since 1975. The Baltimore Industrial Show in was produced in1975 and from there 32 regional industrial shows grew that were produced annually in the U.S. Shows.  These included the Pacific Coast Machine Tool Show, Tulsa Industrial & Machine Tool Show and the Nashville Industrial Show, all examples of the events produced by ISOA. Industrial Shows of Latin America (ISOLA) was formed in 1992 with anticipation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The first USA/Mexcio Industrial Show took place in June of 1992 at the Cintermex Exposition Facility in Monterrey, Mexico. The next USA/Mexico Industrial Expo was launched in Guadalajara in 1993 and Mexico City in 1994.

After 1994, the USA/Mexico Industrial Expo continued on an annual basis in Monterrey. In 1997, ISOLA, in partnership with International Exposition Company, launched the first edition of the AHR Mexico (Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Expo). The show continues today, produced by IEC. In 1998, ISOLA partnered with the Precision Metalforming Association in Cleveland Ohio and produced the first Metalmecanica/USA Expo in Monterrey. This show has since been renamed to the “Metalform Mexico Expo.” Metalform Mexico is now in its 16th Edition.

After selling ISOA and ISOLA to Penton Media in 1998, Cross and Donahue started Trade Show Consulting in 2002 and in 2003 successfully launched the first Welding exposition in Latin America – Weldmex.  In 2012, Weldmex was sold to the American Welding Society.  In conjunction with Weldmex and Metalform Mexico, TSC launched the first FABTECH Mexico Show in June 2009 in Monterrey, Mexico as a combined show with 3 pavilions.  In 2015, the FABTECH partners acquired the COATech show which had been co-located with FABTECH Mexico since 2009. After managing the most successful FABTECH Mexico Show to date in 2019, the pandemic hit and TSC continued to steer FABTECH Mexico through the cancellation of the 2020 show.

Through 2023, TSC worked with Gardner Business Media, Inc. to launch and manage FITMA  – International Expo of Technology and Manufacturing in Mexico City.

In 2021 the Manufacturing Automation summit was launched in both Monterrey and Queretaro Mexico.

A new event, WAFE – Welding, Automation and Fabrication Experience,  was launched in Queretaro, Mexico on March 19 & 20, 2024, promising “A Groundbreaking New Experience & Way to Meet Qualified Buyers in the Welding, Automation and Fabrication Industry!” attracting both visitors and suppliers from the Bajio. The central area of Mexico, also known as Bajio, is a hotbed for manufacturing operations, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries. WAFE will return to Querétaro on March 12 & 13, 2025, and announces it will be hosting the First Annual Mexico Welding Competition.

TSC, LLC also consults on the hy-fcell International Expo and Conference Vancouver, Canada, the manages operations with EVCS Productions on the EV Charging Summit and Expo, Las Vegas, Nevada.
